Founded in 2006 by Matthew Flack, Plan Ahead has grown to be one of the largest consultancies in the UK that specialise only in Planning and Project Controls
Our Story
Our name, Plan Ahead, was inspired by the Laing Construction Project Controls file Matthew used to learn his craft at the start of his career.
The Plan Ahead brand is founded on the core belief that 'Proper Planning' can add real value to a project. We believe in 'first principles' planning from Quantities, Outputs and Resources – The software is merely one of many tools we use to make our working day more efficient.
Our growth has been steady and controlled over many years, ensuring we continue to deliver a service to our clients that they want and need. Over 90% of our work is acquired by referral due to the success we provide our clients.
With a team of 30+ planning consultants based across three offices in the UK, we choose not to use freelance consultants, instead focusing on training and developing our in-house planning team to be the best in their field.
We keep on top of new developments and technology to ensure we are always at the top of our game, and the support we offer our team leads to unrivalled delivery and planning services for our clients.
With Plan Ahead's continued growth and success, we can re-invest to develop new services and products that benefit our clients, ultimately achieving more progress with fewer resources.
